After the success of G55 in India, now Mercedes-Benz is
launching its big boy from G wagon, the G63. Now, what does the 63 mean? It means
more power, more growl and more aggressive.
The G63 will be a replacement of the legendary G550. What
is Merc offering more in the form of G63? The 382-hp 5.5L V-8 in the G550
generates a 391 lb-ft torrent of torque and 0-100 kmph in 6.0 seconds. A new
handcrafted 5.5L Direct Injection biturbo V-8 in the G63 AMG develops 536 hp
and 560 lb-ft, and reaches 100 in 5.3 seconds.
The G63 is expected to be launched in India during the release
of the latest Die Hard flick – A Good Day To Die Hard, which is apparently in
the third week of February.
