Audi launched its most
aggressive looking supercar, the 2013 R8 in the Indian market. Available in three
variants, priced at Rs 1.34crore for R8 V8 Coupe, Rs 1.57crore for the R8 V10 Coupe
and 1.73crore for the V10 Spyder.
The facelifted Audi R8 was launched
yesterday by the cast of the upcoming Hindi movie Race 2 in the presence of
Michael Perschke, head of Audi India in New Delhi.
Changes to the 2013 model
include all-LED headlamps, redesigned grille, front bumpers and air intakes as
well as a revised design for the alloy wheels. On the inside, Audi has given
chrome treatment to most of the control stalks and trim as well as the paddle
shifts.
The 2013 R8 sports an all-LED
ensemble at the front and rear, redesigned grille, diffuser with large round
tail pipes, and air intakes as well as a revised design for the alloy wheels. The
new R8 replaces the R-Tronic automated manual to a new seven-speed S-Tronic
gearbox. The new R8 will use same iconic
engine, however with improved features, thanks to the new gearbox.
