Audi launched its sporty, efficient and versatile premium SUV in the format of the compact class in India, an urban vehicle that is equally at home on or off the road.
Exterior
The Audi Q3 is the youngest
member of the Audi family and quite obvious. The coupe-like lines feature the
vehicle’s sporty character. The wedge-shaped headlights are available as a
xenon plus version including LED daytime running lights. The low roof line and the
flat D-pillars emphasize the dynamics of the Audi Q3. The base version of the
Audi Q3 weighs just 1,445 kilograms (3,185.68 lb). Both the engine hood and the
tailgate are made of aluminum. As is typical of the Q models from Audi, the
undivided tail lights are integrated into the tailgate, which wraps around the
pillars.
Interior
The interior of the Audi Q3 is
a class which is directly driven from the luxury segment, which includes the
adaptive light system for the xenon plus headlights, the panoramic glass roof
and an LED interior lighting package. With regards to the infotainment, Audi
offers a whole set of modular components with hard drive-based navigation
system MMI navigation plus a Bose surround sound system with 14 speakers and Bluetooth
online car phone with WLAN hotspot connects the Q3 to the Internet.
In addition to this, the Audi
Q3 offers ample room for all five passengers and sets new standards for
ergonomics and workmanship.
Powerplant
The craze for luxury cars in India is continuously increasing.Aston Martin, Ferrari, Maserati, Koenigsegg, Porsche are all here in India now, selling their multi crore cars. These supercars look beautiful and are superfast, but are more of a showpiece than practical vehicles for Indian roads.
