Get set sport! Is what the all new Mitsubishi Pajero
Sport saying. Hindustan Motors MD, Mr. Manoj Jha confirms Mitsubishi is all set
to launch the Pajero Sport in India by February 2012.
Mitsubishi Pajero Sport would be assembled at the Hindustan
Motors-Mitsubishi’s manufacturing unit at Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The Pajero Sport
will be equipped with a 2.5-litre CRDI diesel engine capable of producing 135bhp
and 320Nm torque and transmission would be either a 5 speed manual transmission
or a 5 speed automatic transmission.
The expected competition for the new Mitsubishi Pajero Sport are the new Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and the 2012 Chevrolet Captiva which is
also set to launch in few months.
The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport would be priced at a price
tag of Rs. 20 lakh.

Their is a no competition between Pajero and Ford fortuner. Both have different design and different features.
