The
Jaguar XKR-S is known as the fastest and most powerful production sports car Jaguar has ever built.
The
XKR-S is a coupe body styled with usage of carbon fiber on the front fascia,
diffuser and spoiler extensively. The vehicle was unveiled at the 2011 Geneva
Motor Show.
A
serious performance machine you can call it, since it is the most responsive,
powerful, agile, and driver-focused production car. It is built on the regular
XKR, adding massive power and other upgrades to the interior and exterior.
Under
the bonnet of the performance machine is a supercharged AJ-V8 Gen III R
direct-injection engine pumping out 542 hp, which is 40hp more than the XKR, It
will whack you baby! Fitted with a 6-speed automatic transmission that offers
feather quality drive allowing you to sprint from 0-100kmph in 4.2 seconds and
leap a top-speed of 300 km/h.
From the exterior the most
predominant eye catching element is the front fascia which incorporates a
wider, lower air intake, a carbon-fiber splitter and twin side nacelles. The
rear ensures the aerodynamic nature of the car by a unique rear wing with
carbon-fiber insert and the diffuser in carbon fiber. It also boasts Vulcan
20-inch alloy (Dark Technical Finish) and Pirelli P-Zero tyres. Overall, the
look is aggressive, and that’s what I like it!
